About us
Wild Road Recording was founded in 2019 by Nashville based audio engineer/music producer Max Rubel (who formerly operated the studio in Oak Hill since 2014). Max graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a degree in music as well as the Berklee College of Music with a specialty in Music Production and Engineering.
The studio itself was designed and constructed by Michael Cronin Acoustic Construction. Cronin's other projects include some of the finest studios in the world including Blackbird Studios, Ocean Way Nashville, and Apple Music's new Nashville studios. Wild Road Recording features a highly tuned live room, iso booth, and mastering quality control room as well as a high end collection of equipment. Our goal is to provide the highest possible quality of recording to artists in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
